- How do I remove a propeller prop from a minnkota trolling motor?
I took the plastic wing-nut off and still cannot get the propeller to come off. I need it off to remove some tangled fishing line.
A It should come off after the wing nut is removed. It is probably just stuck and will require working it off. Work it back and forth if you can or tap on it with a hammer using a small block of wood as a buffer to prevent damage to the prop.
